RubberLand
Museum Design
RubberLand is the first and only rubber museum in Asia, transforming educational content into immersive experiences through interactive media, environmental graphics, and 3D projection mapping.
The Challenge
As the first and only rubber museum in Asia, the project aimed to create a whimsical environment that would immerse visitors in the imaginative world of natural rubber. The challenge was to transform complex educational content and two-dimensional infographics into engaging three-dimensional experiences while making the information accessible to visitors of all ages.
Design Process
The visual identity was inspired by raw rubber blocks, representing the material before it is transformed into everyday products. Growth rings of the rubber tree were developed into graphic elements that established a cohesive visual language throughout the museum. Various materials and applications were also explored to incorporate natural rubber into environmental graphics and exhibition media.
The Solution
Custom rubber-cast signage was developed to create a distinctive material expression and strengthen the identity of the space. Two-dimensional infographics were translated into immersive three-dimensional installations and experiential media.
By combining corporate identity, museum graphics, and multimedia technology, RubberLand transformed educational content into an engaging edutainment experience, creating a memorable destination for visitors of all ages.
